We also have a dog Milo. He is a maltipoo, the happiest little guy. He actually belongs to my boyfriend. Since he travels a lot for work Milo has gotten very comfiy with us. Sometimes he will even refuse to go home with his dad. He loves to wake the boys up every morning, hates to be alone and requests to be babysat daily by Grammie and Papa.
Our life is crazy busy but fun. I work full time for an amazing company. I basically support 3 directors and 35 managers for an insurance company. I get to be creative and think of ways to encourage the staff, save money, organize, design, and lots of other things. I also attend school full time. I am working on my masters in clinical psychology. I love school as odd as it is I feel like it's the one thing in my life that is just mine.. Me time. I can justify it because in the end the boys and I will be better off with my higher education.
We live in a pleasantville type neighborhood. Mostly all families far away from the hustle and hecticness that Phoenix has become. We live less than a mile from one of my brothers. After my divorce the boys and wanted to be closer to Grammie and Papa who also live very close. My parents are super grandparents! Not only do they watch the boys every day after school they also take them on trips in their rv. They have even taken them across the country in it for summer vacation! Without them my life would be a lot harder. I don't always have to miss work when one of them is sick and they also attend some of the special events at school when I can't.
I love to save money. I also have champagne taste. I love nice things. I have an expensive gluten free, no dairy, organic diet. I only like designer jeans. Somehow I feel like I am always getting absolute best deal. Part of the thrill and ownership pride I have is from getting the best deal.
I love order and cleanliness. I am also super busy and have very little time to keep it all maintained.
I am sorta a hippy. I use homemade cleaning products, love to thrift store shop, repurpose items, and don't believe in fast food. My kids rarely watch television but occasionally get a little crazy about skylanders.
I am really good at maintaining a positive outlook, saving money, eating healthy, balancing my time. I also love Jesus. I would not consider myself religious however. I do attend church most Sundays, but I think having Joy and moral compass (Christ centered heart) and expressing that in the real world is more important than spending all my time couped up in a church and all it's activities.
I thought I would make a blog to share my experiences and learn new things from others!
